Marlborough Productions to present Live Art Social on Friday, April 1

Marlborough Productions (MP) is to return with its first live performance event since 2020 at Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts on Friday, April 1 from 8pm.

Live Art Social is a chance for MP’s nearest and dearest creatives to join them for an evening of short ‘n’ sharp performances from Emma Frankland, Subira, Midgitte Bardot, Harry Clayton-Wright, Symone, I am Fya and YES MEL (DJ set).

MP say: “We left the Marlborough Pub & Theatre two years ago, and during these unsettling times we became a registered charity, and continued to support the UK’s best queer performance artists.

Live Art Social is a chance to reconnect as part of our beloved audience community, and we’ll round off the night with that dance you’ve been craving!”

Support independent LGBTQ+ journalism

Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical.

Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.

Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
