Letter To My Little Trans Self - a new collection to amplify trans voices - is to launch on 30 July.
Featuring intimate accounts from prominent trans writers, including Juno Roche, Travis Alabanza, Charlie Craggs, Sabah Choudrey and many more, Letter To My Little Trans Self offers hope and connection amid rising censorship and features intimate first-hand accounts from prominent trans adults writing letters to their younger selves.

A release states: "The timing of the book launch is significant – as politicians work to erase trans experiences from public spaces, this collection amplifies the authentic voices that are currently under threat of being silenced.
"Each letter in the collection represents a story of vulnerability, resilience and hope – sentiments that are desperately needed in the current UK climate arriving against the backdrop of the Supreme Court ruling creating a segregation of trans people."

hotpencil press - the publisher of the book - began as a grassroots idea by Serge Nicholson and Libro Levi Bridgeman to publish queer writers whose work may be ignored by the mainstream.
They have previously published the best-selling The Butch Monologues written by Libro Levi Bridgeman and Letter To My Little Queer Self. Both Libro Levi and Serge view the current censorship efforts as part of a broader pattern of political influence.
The release continues: "Letter To My Little Trans Self offers an alternative narrative – one of understanding, growth, and the power of authentic storytelling to create connection and hope for trans people of any age navigating their identity."
