Four men have been charged in connection with a series of burglaries and frauds across London, in which victims were allegedly targeted through the dating app Grindr.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the group is suspected of orchestrating 35 burglaries and 20 related fraud offences between October 2024 and March 2025, affecting at least 22 victims.

Among those charged is Rahmat Khan Mohammadi, 22, of Weald Lane, Harrow Weald. He faces 17 counts of burglary, 12 fraud offences, and one count of theft. Mohammadi was arrested in April and has been remanded in custody ahead of a court appearance at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday, 25 July.

Mohammed Bilal Hotak, 21, of Richmond Road, Hackney, has been charged with 14 burglaries, nine fraud offences, and one count of theft. He too remains in custody and is due to appear alongside Mohammadi at the same court.

Two other men, Mozamel Rahman, 29, and Ibrahim Yaqobie, 28, both from Harrow, have been charged with three counts of burglary and two fraud offences each. They have been released on bail and are scheduled to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 8 August.

A trial date for Mohammadi and Hotak has been set for Monday, 13 October at Isleworth Crown Court.

The police investigation is ongoing, and officers have urged anyone with further information to come forward.
