Trailblazer BombayMami (formerly known as Ta’Shan) returns with her empowering new single Curse, out now via MNRK.

Blending hazy vocals over soulful production, Curse explores the empowering realisation that you need to prioritise yourself and finally leave someone who doesn’t recognise your worth. The single reveals a deeper, more intimate side to BombayMami following the bold singles Hot Boyz and Fire in Delhi which were championed by BBC Radio (Radio 1, 6 Music and Asian Network) leading to her standout performance to a packed crowd at SXSW London

Speaking about the track BombayMami adds, “Curse isn’t just a breakup song, it’s a girl anthem about choosing yourself.  When someone can’t see your worth, you stop running back and start putting yourself first. This track is for every woman who’s done settling and ready to reclaim her power.”

The latest single follows the TikTok viral success of her Fire in Delhi snowboarding campaign which racked up over 10 million views and won praise from the likes of Maya JamaSid SriramBiig Piig, and Kojey Radical
