The Rainbow Lottery - the UK’s only national lottery dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ+ community - has announced that the Elton John AIDS Foundation has officially joined its growing network of over 200 LGBTQ+ causes across the country.

Founded by Elton John in 1992, the Elton John AIDS Foundation is one of the world’s leading independent AIDS organisations, committed to overcoming the HIV and LGBTQ+ stigma, discrimination, and neglect that stand in the way of ending AIDS. By joining the Rainbow Lottery, the Foundation offers a new way for supporters to meaningfully contribute to lifesaving work, while also having the chance to win up to £25,000 every week.

A Win-Win for the Community

  • 50p of every £1 ticket goes directly to LGBTQ+ causes, with players able to choose exactly who they support.
  • 1-in-50 chance to win a prize every week - including a £25,000 jackpot.
  • When players select the Elton John AIDS Foundation, 50p from every ticket goes directly to funding their lifesaving HIV programmes.

Joining the Rainbow Lottery gives supporters a fresh and engaging way to advance our mission to end AIDS, while also strengthening the wider network of LGBTQ+ organisations doing vital work across the UK.”
