With support from Arts Council England‘s Let’s Create Jubilee Fund at Sussex Community Foundation, everyone is welcome to join alternative queens (and kings!) Ebony Rose Garden, Sammy Silver and Arkem for this family friendly sober celebration with tea, cake, music, crafts, a photography exhibition and live entertainment.
Stuart says: “It’s such an honour to be working with the communities of Brighton in this way – I’m enjoying meeting people and hearing their stories, and I can’t wait to gather everyone together for a celebration of our diversity at the beautiful new Ledward Centre!”
Support independent LGBTQ+ journalism
Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical. Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
