Brighton gears up for a city-wide celebration of International Women’s Day 2026
Brighton & Hove is set for a vibrant weekend of events as the city marks International Women’s Day 2026, with celebrations beginning on Saturday, 7 March.
The centrepiece is the Network of International Women’s annual gathering at the Brighton Unitarian Church on New Road, running from 11am - 4pm. The event brings together local organisations dedicated to empowering women, offering visitors live music, international food, children’s activities and the chance to connect with community groups championing women’s rights and wellbeing.
Everyone is welcome to drop in throughout the day.
The Network is also appealing for volunteers to help ensure the event is as warm and lively as ever. Anyone able to offer support is encouraged to email info@niwbh.org.
