Brighton Bear Weekend 2025 (BBW) brought a wave of celebration, community spirit, and fabulous fun to Brighton from 10 - 13 July. This beloved annual event, a highlight of the UK’s LGBTQ+ calendar, once again delivered four days of camaraderie, entertainment, and fundraising - all in support of local charities like the Sussex Beacon and Lunch Positive.
The festivities kicked off on Thursday with the ever-popular BBW Quiz Night at Nautilus Lounge, where teams battled it out for a cash prize in a night filled with laughter and lively competition. Friday saw the Welcome Party and the first glimpse of the contenders for the coveted Mr Brighton Bear title at Dorset Gardens, with music, food from Lunch Positive, and a buzzing crowd under the BBW marquee.

Saturday was the heart of the weekend, featuring the legendary Garden Party - a vibrant daytime event with community stalls, performances, and plenty of refreshments. The atmosphere was electric as the crowd gathered for the announcement of this year’s Mr Brighton Bear, which was won by Aidan Conner Frame.
Saturday night turned up the heat with a Club Night, where guest DJs kept the dance floor alive until the early hours. Sunday offered a more relaxed vibe, with the cheeky Underbears party - a fittingly playful end to a weekend of celebration.
