Bridgerton actor Jonathan Bailey has raised an incredible £30,000 for LGBTQ+ youth charity Just Like Us in just 24 hour after running a half marathon for the charity.
Speaking of Just Like Us, Bailey, who is a patron of the charity, said “I’ve met some of their young ambassadors who go into schools, talking about their personal journeys with coming out, allyship and helping stop bullying. They inspired me to become a patron of this wonderful charity.
“Just Like Us is doing vital work to make sure young people no longer grow up feeling ashamed of being LGBTQ+. But they need our help. Please dig deep to support this vital cause and together let’s change the lives of LGBTQ+ young people”

Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical. Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
