Bournemouth Pride: 2021 announced

Bourne Free, the Pride weekend n Bournemouth, will have “Stronger Together- Celebrating Our Emergency Services and All Key Workers” as it`s theme for the 2021. The event will take place in the Dorset coastal town on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th July, concentrated around Meyrick Park.

“We want our 2021 Bourne Free weekend to be an opportunity to recognise the people who are making a difference to our community; from the NHS workers and carers to bus drivers, supermarket workers, posties and the unpaid volunteers who give their time willingly,” said Benjamin Horgan, Chair of Bourne Free trustees. “Come dressed to impress as your favourite key worker. From scrubs  to uniforms, tabards to overall and everything in-between to celebrate out real life heroes.”

Bourne Free started in 2004 and has grown to be one of the highlights of the Pride calendar in the south west of England. As with many other Pride events this year, Bourne Free had to cancel the 2020 event due to Covid-19.
