Beyond The Binary – A Celebration Of Trans Joy, which captures authentic joy, promoting community spirit and empowering the trans community through visibility, has been extended for the whole of LGBT+ History Month.

The exhibition is a collaboration between Brighton-based award-winning photographer Chris Jepson, trans groups including Trans Pride Brighton & Hove, Clare Project, Trans Can Sport, TReNBI FC Brighton, Misfits and Transkaters, as well as numerous trans individuals.

Chris Jepson, photographer, said: “With the US currently rolling back all trans rights and systematically erasing trans lives from the public record, including important public monuments like the Stonewall Inn memorial, it is even more vital that we stand with our trans siblings and shout about trans joy from the rooftops. As history has repeatedly shown us, when the bigots come for one of us, they inevitably come for all of us.”

Check out the Beyond The Binary exhibition in person at Plus X Innovation, Brighton until February 28 or online here.
