Aspen Gay Ski Week LGBTQ+ fundraiser to return to Aspen Snowmass in January 2026

The longest-running Gay Ski Week in America, Aspen Gay Ski Week will celebrate its 49th year in 2026, taking place from 11-18 January. Visitors to the Rocky Mountain towns of Aspen and Snowmass Village can expect vibrant festivities, including après, drag brunches, nightly parties, comedy shows, group ski days, the annual Drag Downhill, and special events.

Aspen Gay Ski Week is the largest fundraising event for AspenOUT, the Roaring Fork Valley’s largest non-profit providing support and services to the diverse LGBTQ+ population in the area.

AspenOUT continues to make significant strides in promoting equality, mental health support, and community engagement. Established formally in 1996, the organisation is best known for hosting Aspen Gay Ski Week (AGSW), the longest-running gay ski event in the United States, which will celebrate its 49th anniversary in January 2026. The week-long festival attracts thousands of visitors and serves as AspenOUT’s flagship fundraiser, underpinning its year-round programming and charitable initiatives.

AspenOUT’s mission is clear: to empower LGBTQ+ individuals and their families through innovative programmes, vital resources and strategic financial support. This includes alleviating financial barriers to specialised therapy, offering collegiate scholarships, and creating inclusive spaces for both youth and adults.

Aspen Snowmass offers four mountains of terrain, impressive apres ski, cosmopolitan restaurants and an impressive lineup of unforgettable winter and summer events.
