Allsorts and MIndOut publish new resource

Allsorts Youth Project and LGBTQ+ mental health charirty MindOut have collaborated on a new resource – the LGBT+ Intergenerational Q&A, which is a short collection of Q&As shared between 50+ and 11-25 year old LGBTQ+ people.

This resource is part of Allsorts Youth Project and MindOut’s Intergenerational Project. From MindOut, three 50+ service users asked the young people of Allsorts three questions about being an LGBTQ+ young person today. Two groups of Allsorts young people got together to discuss their experiences, reflect on the questions, and came up with a few of their own to ask in return.

MindOut and Allsorts have collated some of the responses, and hope you find the result interesting!

Support independent LGBTQ+ journalism

Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical.

Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.

Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
