Brighton and Hove Council are showing support and solidarity for our Trans and Non binary communities celebrating Trans Pride in the city today by flying the Trans Flag from the Town Halls.
BHCC has flown the Trans Flag from the cities civic buildings for many years, along with many other flags which mark days of celebration and honour for the diverse communities of the city.
A spokesperson for the Council said ‘However you choose to mark or celebrate Trans Pride this year, we wish everyone a safe, enjoyable and memorable time. Have a safe and happy Trans Pride’

Support independent LGBTQ+ journalism
Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical. Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
