Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) the annual observance that honours the memory of those whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
375 trans and gender-diverse people have been reported murdered in the past year we remember their names and invite you to join us in remembering these people, each one part of a community, with a family, lost to us through violence in the last year.
This video shares the names of the people who’s deaths were recorded from Nov 2020 to Sep 30th 2021. It will also be shown at the Ledward Center following the Brighton & Hove community vigil at Jubilee Square from 2pm on Sunday 21st November.
