The Alzheimer’s Society needs supporters to run and raise money for them in the Bupa, London 10,000 annual charity on Sunday, May 25.

The Bupa London 10,000 is an annual charity run that started in 2008. The race passes many London landmarks and finishes just by Buckingham Palace.
The Alzheimer’s Society is a membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Many of its 20,000 members have personal experience of dementia, as carers, health professionals or people with dementia themselves, and their experiences help to inform on their work.

Mike Weatherley the MP for Hove & Portslade is urging people to support the Alzheimer’s Society, he said: “Charity runs are a fantastic way to raise awareness of a specific issue, money for a charity, as well as boost one’s personal fitness. The Alzheimer’s Society is looking for runners for the Bupa London 10k run and I hope that any enthusiastic residents that would like to help a good cause will sign up.”
