Brighton & Hove LGBT Community Safety Forum hold their Spring public meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 11 starting at 7pm.
Guest speakers at the meeting will include:
Melinda King, BHCC Communities Coordinator who will be talking about the ISD & Google funding opportunity for projects tackling hate and extremism.
Christina Chatfield from the Dental Health Spa will be presenting information and advice on Oral Health Screening & the HPV Vaccine Awareness Programme.
The national HPV vaccination programme for Men who have sex with men began on April 1 2018.
The purpose of the HPV for MSM (Men who have sex with men) programme is to opportunistically offer the vaccine to MSM up to and including 45 years of age through Specialist Sexual Health Services (SSHS) and/or HIV clinics.
At present, the vaccine is not available outside of SSHS and HIV clinics. Public Health England therefore encourages patients to continue attending SSHS and HIV clinics where they normally receive care.
After the presentation Christina will be able to take questions from those attending.
