Brighton's very own LADSCLUB are making a comeback!

In case you somehow skipped past the headline, Brighton’s very own LADSCLUB are making a comeback! The duo's brand new single ALGORHYTHM has dropped on all streaming platforms today and it's just the kind of throbbing slice of electro pop that’s fast becoming their global signature sound.
2024 marked a breakout year for Greg and Ed. Their debut self-titled album, LADSCLUB, landed with explosive impact, catching the public off guard and earning rave reviews across the board. Discovery Magazine hailed it as “Pet Shop Boys on acid!”. The duo also dropped two standout singles, INIT and MATINEE, each paired with visually striking music videos that amplified their growing reputation.
Fun fact: The MATINEE video was filmed partly on location at Brighton’s beautiful Duke of York cinema🍿and is a cinematic feast for the eyes!
LADSCLUB took their sound on the road for the first time lighting up stages at Hastings Queer on the Pier Festival and and a headline Sunday slot on the Brighton Pride Queertown stage in Preston Park. Riding high from those performances, they were thrilled to join HiFi Sean & David McAlmont on their UK tour in November. “It was a real honour,” Greg shared.
I was obsessed with David McAlmont’s voice growing up-I played my cassette single of YES so much it wore out!
Their biggest hit yet, HEARTSTOP, followed soon after, a euphoric anthem remixed by London’s own DJ AMYL. To celebrate, the duo released a deluxe edition of their debut album, packed with bonus tracks and remixes available on vinyl and double CD. A milestone moment for Greg and Ed.
After a brief pause, the lads returned to the studio, reigniting their creative fire. The result? ALGORHYTHM, a shimmering electro-pop gem that’s pure LADSCLUB magic. It’s paired with TROPHY WIFE, a fiery singalong indie-punk track that showcases their sonic versatility. “We never want to box ourselves in,” says Ed.
Exploring different styles keeps it exciting for me as the producer.
The new release is available to stream now and is also available as a limited-edition 12” vinyl, featuring an exclusive club remix of fan favourite BRED, sold only via Elastic Stage HERE.
Interestingly, neither ALGORHYTHM or TROPHY WIFE will appear on their upcoming second album, slated for full production next year.
“We’re aiming for wall-to-wall bangers,” says Greg. “We’re buzzing to dive into it, but wanted to drop something fresh in the meantime to keep the fans dancing” adds Ed.
