Simon Kirby, MP for Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven, continues his fight against scam mail.
He will be placing a box in his Peacehaven office, which constituents can place any suspect mail that they receive.
Recently, he called on Brighton and Hove City Council to take action on this issue and follow in the footsteps of East Sussex Trading Standard’s ‘Scam Hub’.
Simon said:
“I understand the frustrations and worry that scam mail can cause people and I want to encourage constituents to drop any suspicious mail into my office.
“‘Scams’ are a serious issue and I want to ensure that the proper measures are taken to tackle, prevent fraud and persecute the people involved.”
