Suzi chats with the brilliant and inspiring Brighton resident & Gscene contrubitor Jules Guaitamacchi.
Jules is a non-binary, speaker, LGBTQ+ awareness trainer, consultant, social campaigner, activist and writer. They have been professionally public speaking since 2013. Their career started working in mental health and resilience, working closely with the Amy Winehouse Foundation in the charity’s early days. They soon became a freelance speaker and consultant, travelling to independent and state schools across the United Kingdom and abroad. They run workshops, provide training as well as one to one coaching and emotional support to young people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
Their work extends to pubic sector organisations as well as corporate businesses and they specialise in LGBTQIA+ awareness and gender diversity.
Jules and Suzi chat chat childhoods, what it means to be non binary and always being open to learning, Suzi’s podasgt series interviews key LGBTQI+ people and talks to them about coming out, being out, and finding one’s place in the world as a member of the LGBTQI community.
