The Martin Fisher Foundation’s vision is to accelerate TOWARDS ZERO HIV stigma, ZERO new HIV infections and ZERO deaths from HIV in Brighton & Hove, and the Foundation are currently working with stakeholders to develop a Towards Zero HIV strategy and implementation plan that will set out ways in which everyone can contribute to this important aspirational goal. Central to their plans is that people take a regular HIV test.

A ‘self-testing’ kit gives a result in a few minutes, without anyone else being involved. The test will tell you if there are no signs of HIV, or if the test is ‘reactive’ and it cannot rule out the presence of HIV infection. ‘Reactive’ test results must be confirmed in a health care setting.
