Following a deluge of suggestions from residents for the top curry restaurant, Mike Weatherley, the Conservative MP for Hove and Portslade, has selected Azaro as his entry for the 2014 Tiffin Cup competition.

Azaro, which recently opened on Church Road in Hove, will now have the opportunity to compete in the national stage of the competition in the House of Commons with the country’s top curry-creators for the coveted Tiffin Cup itself.
Last year, Hove Tandoori, also on Church Road, made it through to this stage and was highly commended by competition judges.
Mike said: “I am really grateful to everyone who got in touch this year with nominations for the Tiffin Cup. I received a huge number of emails from residents keen to nominate their favourite local curry house. However, one new restaurant stood out from the rest and I am delighted to put forward Azaro as Hove and Portslade’s Tiffin Cup 2014 entry. I wish Azaro the best of luck and hope I will see them in Parliament for the competition final.”
