#DALEYPOP X March 2026

Music has been embedded in my life ever since I was in the womb, my mum and dad basically raised me on music, especially POP music! I grew up listening to Madonna, Mariah Carey, Kylie Minogue, Spice Girls, Britney Spears and even AQUA and I’ve always been obsessed with pop culture and Eurovison! I love yapping about my favourite songs and album of the month every month with the world from Scene HQ!

JORDY - BAD SEX

BAD SEX by JORDY is a gloriously chaotic track that leans fully into messy emotions that most pop songs are too polite to admit. If you're like me and grew up listening to pop punk bands, Avril Lavigne, Hilary Duff etc and looking for your next hyper fixation queer artist in a world filled with queer hyper pop/dance pop then you'll loveeee this!

It’s the kind of track you play when you want to laugh at your own bad choices instead of crying about them, and that mix of humour and honesty makes it one of JORDY’s most entertaining releases.

Chloe Qisha - YDH

Oh it stands for young, dumb and horny, in case you were wondering! YDH is the second single from Chloe Qisha to come out following her sophomore EP, Modern Romance which was released in May last year, just FYI. The single is accompanied by a music video, directed by Iris Luz and it's so good!

Speaking about her new single, Chloe said "YDH was written in one joy-filled, jet-lagged day. It was the perfect reset for a very stressful year - and it reminded me that this next project is about chasing fun. The song taps into that feral, fairy-tale kind of attraction — the all-consuming crush that makes you reckless, invested, and a little dramatic. It’s one of the fantasies I’ll be dipping into for this next project - I want people to let their hair down and stepping into full princess mode. This song was made for hootin’ and hollerin’ in the shower, at home with your cats, on a night out - wherever.”

If you don't know her yet, Chloe Qisha is a truly special talent and despite only launching her career in July 2024 and having played her first show in October 2024, Chloe has already achieved huge success. In 2026, she was longlisted in BBC’s prestigious annual Sound Of list. Since her debut, Chloe has been featured on the cover of Rolling Stone UK, NME, NOTION, Dork and KNUCKLE and lauded by a plethora of publications including New York Times, Billboard, British Vogue, The Face, ELLE UK, BBC, CLASH, DORK, DIY, to name just a few....so she's one to watch!

Calvin Harris and Kasabian - Release The Pressure

I do love a crossover collab that we didn't know we needed! Calvin Harris has teamed up with rock band Kasabian for the anthemic Release The Pressure and blending the genres of electronic dance and rock together paid off.

Bebe Rexha - I Like You Better Than Me

Bebe Rexha’s new era is looking to be electro-pop-charged if I Like You Better Than Me is anything to go by and is coming for main pop girl status with this new era!

I Like You Better Than Me is a high energy offering designed for dance floors whilst Bebe talks about being in one’s own body and thinking somebody else’s is superior. We've all felt that before, right?! No? Just me and Bebe then? However, she delivers this with perfectly danceable beats, kind of infusing it with the confidence the lyrics lack.

Dorian Electra - Fake Denim

Hyperpop pioneer Dorian Electra has premiered their new song, Fake Denim in collaboration with Boys Noize, the producer behind Lady Gaga’s hit Rain on Me and multiple collaborations with Skrillex so you KNOW it'll be good!

This is Electra’s first solo release since their 2023 album, Fanfare and I'm excited for what's more to come.

Sarah Whatmore - Fools Gold

Omg this is so weird, I randomly remembered Automatic and When I Lost You the other day, 2 absolute bops by Sarah Whatmore back in 2002/2003 and then I saw Sarah is back making music!

In case Automatic hasn't made you remember, Sarah Whatmore is a British singer-songwriter and dancer who first rose to fame on the debut series of ITV’s Pop Idol and became one of the few contestants to bag a UK top 10 single and was signed to Simon Fuller’s 19 Management and RCA Records.

After several years focused on songwriting and artistic development, she's back with a genre blending sound that fuses emotional storytelling with dance music and lends her voice to FOOLS GOLD, a collaboration with Sholz-Y and honestly it's so nostalgic to hear Sarah Whatmore again!

Akylas - Ferto

I'm super excited that Eurovision season is on her way and Sing For Greece reached its conclusion on the 15th Feb with 14 entries competing to represent the country in Vienna. Points were awarded to the songs on the night via three sources: a jury vote (25%), an international jury vote (25%) and a public vote (50%) and after receiving the top points from all three sets of scores, the winning entry is Ferto performed by Akylas.

Ferto will represent Greece at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna and Greece are definitely getting 12 points from me! Akylas has an authentic sound and strong stage presence and became widely known in 2024 thanks to the hit single Atelié and is a self made musician from Serres. Akylas studied at the Serres Music School and honed his performance skills further through theatrical workshops. After moving to Athens, he started to stand out online via his viral covers on TikTok. Since then, he's built a reputation as a great performer, shaping a multicultural, contemporary sound with a Greek identity.

Delta Goodrem - Eclipse

Speaking of Eurovision, DELTA GOODREM IS REPRESENTING AUSTRALIA THIS YEAR! A sentence I honestly never thought I'd be typing even though it's been rumoured for years that Delta would do Eurovision. Delta Goodrem is a once in a generation artist though, someone pinch me, is this real life?!

The global pop powerhouse will perform Eclipse at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest, written by Delta herself, along with Ferras Alqaisi, Jonas Myrin and Michael Fatkin (who also produced the song).

Delta said “I’m so honoured to represent Australia on one of the biggest and most iconic music stages in the world at Eurovision! As a singer-songwriter, music has been my lifelong passion. I’ve always loved the creativity, individuality, and joy Eurovision brings, connecting and uniting people across the globe through music; the universal language. I can’t wait to arrive in Vienna and make Australia proud.” She definitely will.

AOTM: Hilary Duff

luck... or something

One of the defining stars of her generation, multiplatinum global icon Hilary Duff has returned to the pop world with her boldest and honestly, her most self assured project yet. After rising to fame as the titular star of the Disney Channel blockbuster, Lizzie McGuire, Hils first kicked off her music career with 2003’s 4X platinum Metamorphosis (featuring So Yesterday and Come Clean), then released her platinum selling 2004 self titled LP and 2007 autobiographical dance pop collection Dignity. With those three albums alone selling a collective 15 million copies worldwide, she also established herself as a producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and New York Times bestselling author, all while continuing to deliver standout performances in TV and film, including her award nominated turn on Darren Star’s Younger (which I'm currently binge watching on Netflix btw).

Now though, Hils is signed to Atlantic Records, launching a thrilling new chapter with her highly anticipated sixth studio album, luck… or something, her first new album since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out. Co-written by Hilary and produced by her husband, GRAMMY® Award winning songwriter and producer Matthew Koma, the 11 track collection features previously released singles Mature and Roommates.

"There’s that question of whether women can have it all, and through this process I learned I had to sacrifice some things in order to put the record first,” shares Hilary. “As hard as that is, I still believe it’s okay to choose yourself sometimes and do what scares the hell out of you. Carving out the time to make an album after all these years was incredibly powerful for me, and now I can’t wait to share it with the world."

Pulled between the chaos and clarity of motherhood, marriage, and finding herself in her 30s, Hils dreamed up a batch of songs that uncover the secret corners of her inner world: her hidden longings and quiet insecurities, intrusive thoughts and deepest obsessions. In a bold evolution of her artistry, she crafted every track with equal parts sensitivity, self awareness and wildly charming wit.

luck… or something was heralded by its first single, Mature. Hailed by VOGUE for "pushing Duff’s sound in new directions while still feeling quintessentially Hilary,” the sardonic, shimmering track (which quickly earned over 5 million global streams in its first week of release) arrived as a piece of autofiction inspired by romantic misadventures in her formative years. Set against bright pop production and layered with Hils sigmature wit and vulnerability, Mature is accompanied by an evocative music video directed by Lauren Dunn.

Oh and good news....Hilary's celebrating luck… or something with the lucky me tour, her first full scale global headline run in almost two decades! Spanning seven countries, with dates across the US, Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and....the UK! The world tour begins with a two night run in West Palm Beach (in Florida) 21st and 22nd June, and travels alllll the way through into February 2027. Due to incredible fan demand, second shows have been added including multiple nights in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, London, West Palm Beach, Vancouver and Mexico City.

Support for 2026 shows in the US, Canada, Ireland, the UK, Australia and New Zealand shows comes from GRAMMY Award-winning, RIAA Platinum certified artist La Roux. LA ROUX! So cool! You can grab tickets HERE.

“I constantly get asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry,” says Hilary. “The album title is my way of answering that question, which felt right for a record that’s about where I’ve landed and all the things I’ve been through along the way.”

I still can't get over how huge Hilary's comeback has been but it's what she deserves and I just have to say it. THIS IS WHAT DREEEEAMS ARE MADE OF! Oh and my favourite tracks on the album are The Optimist, Growing Up, Roommates, Mature, Weather For Tennis, Future Tripping, Tell Me That Won't Happen, You, From The Honeymoon, Holiday Party annnnd Adult Size Medium. Honestly the album feels super personal and a shimmering comeback that solidifies Hilary Duff as a millennial icon.
