The Dance Arena returns following its debut last year with some of the UK’s biggest names. There will be remix superstar Seamus Haji, Hed Kandi DJ Sarah Louise, adopted Mancunian Junior J who at 20 has already got Creamfields under his belt! And HomoElectric resident DJ Jamie Bull. To top off a stellar line up there is Krystal Klear set to make everyone boogie with their disco/house set and DJs from Drop The Mustard & Meat Free.
Mark Fletcher, Chief Executive for Manchester Pride, said:“We’ve been working hard to secure a great line-up for 2014’s Big Weekend and I’m confident that this first announcement won’t disappoint. We’re aiming to offer something for everyone with a range of performances across many genres from pop and dance, to home-grown and international singer songwriters, and some of the world’s most sought after DJs. It’s great to be presenting some of our performances in conjunction with G-A-Y, and there is much more yet to come.”
The Big Weekend runs from Friday 22 – Monday 25 August and tickets are currently priced at £22 for a weekend ticket, day tickets are also on sale and start at £12.50. Child’s Day & Weekend tickets are on sale too!
A Big Weekend ticket provides guests with access to the event site, including the Main Arena, Sackville Gardens, the Dance Arena and Expo and raises money for LGBT and HIV charities and organisations in Greater Manchester.
