An update from Velvet Jacks

An update from Velvet Jacks‘We have decided to do the right thing by everyone & make the effort to avoid others as much as possible in order to end this situation. We will wait a couple of weeks, let the sun shine for us, then, maybe, open our door for some takeaway cocktails, beer, wine & a slice of pizza in the fresh air or the green space opposite!! We will be poor, but hopefully healthy!!
Meanwhile, we are  happy to help anyone who needs anything, can’t get around, has a problem …. well, just about anything to help.Velvet Jacks has an amazing community & staff, & we are all willing to help others.Take care everyone. See you soon’You can keep up to date with Velvet Jacks via their Facebook page here

Support independent LGBTQ+ journalism

Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical.

Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.

Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
