Following the success of Burning the Clocks 2022, event organisers Same Sky has invited more community groups – including the Ledward Centre – and expanded the parade by 40% for its celebration of the winter solstice in Brighton on December 21.

Same Sky, the community arts charity known for organising Brighton’s annual winter solstice parade and celebration Burning the Clocks, has announced that they have raised £7,036.91 through their crowdfunding campaign and business partnerships over the past few months.

After two years of Covid cancellations, the much-loved community event Burning the Clocks returned to Brighton last night (Wednesday, December 21), bringing around 25,000 people together to watch a procession of lanterns parade and ceremonially burn on the seafront, before a firework show.
