**Unite the Union Brighton & Hove** is hosting **International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia** (**IDAHOBIT**) at the **Ledward Centre** on **Friday, 17 May** in collaboration with **Brighton & Hove City Council**‘s **LGBTQ+ Workers’ Forum**.

Look forward to a night of socialising and speakers including those involved in queer workplace and community organising. The event will open with a performance from Brighton’s **Rainbow Chorus**.

Organisers say: “IDAHOBIT provides an opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community to come together by celebrating diversity and collective solidarity in our ongoing struggles against discrimination. This day is important in fostering belonging and empowerment, having a visible LGBTQ+ community is vital for the broader LGBTQ+ world.”
