As **Brighton & Hove Pride** prepares to celebrate its 35th year, rail operator **Govia Thameslink Railway** (GTR) is set to welcome travellers heading to the city with a live performance from Brighton drag entertainer **Snow White Trash** at London Bridge station.

The performer, dubbed the “saxiest Drag Queen in the UK”, will entertain passengers on Saturday morning with two 45-minute sets featuring singalong saxophone favourites and songs inspired by this year’s Pride headline acts, **RAYE** and **Diana Ross**.

The performances will take place on the main concourse near **Platform 4**, where **Thameslink** services to Brighton depart, offering an early taste of the celebrations for those travelling to the south coast.

**Jenny Saunders**, Customer Services Director at GTR, said the company was proud to support Brighton & Hove Pride and help people travel to one of the largest events on its network.

“We’re proud to once again be supporting Brighton & Hove Pride as the festival celebrates its 35th year,” she said. “It is one of the biggest events on our network and every year we help thousands of people get to and from the event by train.

“We wanted to make the journey to Pride just as memorable as the day itself by bringing a little bit of sparkle and sax-appeal to London Bridge station.”

She added: “We have plenty of services to get people down to Brighton and back again, but if you’re planning to travel by train, please check your journey ahead of time and be aware that our trains will be a lot busier than usual.”

GTR expects trains to be particularly busy throughout the weekend and has announced an enhanced timetable, including additional services and longer trains, to accommodate the large numbers travelling to and from Brighton.

A queueing system will also be in place at Brighton station to help manage crowds after the event.

Brighton & Hove Pride, one of the UK’s largest LGBTQ+ celebrations, takes place this weekend, with thousands expected to travel to the city by rail.
