Two men from Surrey, **George Elliott**, 40, and **Mark Lett**, 42, have been formally charged with the rape of a 19-year-old man in Brighton on **Saturday, December 21**.

On December 21 at around **3.30am**, a 19-year-old was allegedly approached by two unknown men near **Harry Ramsden**’s restaurant in **Old Steine**. Shortly afterward, he was attacked in a nearby street. The victim managed to seek help from a passer-by, who contacted **Sussex Police**.

Detective Inspector **Sean Booth** of Sussex Police stated: “We are still urging anyone with information about this incident to contact Sussex Police online or by calling 101, quoting Operation Attach.”

**Both men are scheduled to appear before Lewes Crown Court on Monday, December 30.**
