**Trans Rage Prom** is set to take over **Chats Palace** in **Homerton** on **Tuesday, 31 March**, marking **Trans Day of Visibility** with an evening dedicated to joy, resistance, and radical self‑expression.

Hosted by **R.A.G.E**, the event builds on the success and momentum of the **Trans Rage** art exhibitions, which have championed creativity, community, and unapologetic trans visibility. Now, that spirit is being translated into a night where trans, non-binary, queer, and allied communities can come together to celebrate without restraint.

At a time when trans people in the UK continue to face heightened hostility, organisers say the prom serves as both an act of care and an act of defiance - a chance to reclaim rites of passage that many were excluded from growing up.

“This prom is about more than nostalgia,” organisers said. “It’s about creating the space we needed then - and still need now. After the success of the Trans Rage exhibitions, we wanted to bring people together in a way that feels joyful, communal and healing.”

Open to anyone seeking a second chance at prom - or simply a night to show up authentically - attendees are encouraged to arrive in whatever makes them feel most themselves, whether that’s tuxedos, gowns, glitter, glamour, or something entirely original.

The night will feature music, dancing, and a vibrant, communal atmosphere grounded in care, solidarity, and creative resistance. For organisers, the prom represents a continuation of Trans Rage’s mission: to cultivate community-led spaces where trans people can gather safely, visibly, and joyfully.
