**Trans Pride Birmingham** has asked followers to ‘save the date’ for their first event, a community picnic in **Pigeon Park** (the green surrounding **St Philip’s Cathedral** on **Colmore Row** in central **Birmingham**) on **Saturday, August 20** from **12 – 4pm**.

Trans Pride Brum is a grassroots movement run by volunteers that aims to create Birmingham’s first Trans Pride. Their goal is to organise a Trans Pride in Birmingham that is accessible, a safe space for self-expression, and representative of our community and its diversity.
