The **Sussex Beacon**‘s **Women’s Group**, a group for women living with HIV, is to meet on **Thursday, September 22** from **10.30am**.

On the day, Professor **Yvonne Gilleece**, HIV consultant at the **Lawson Unit** and Lead in HIV & Women, will be talking about HIV and women’s health. She will be able to answer any questions you have around women’s issues such as the menopause.

After that, **Angelica Cabezas Pino**, filmmaker and researcher at the **University of Sussex**, will be presenting her award-winning film **This Is My Face: What Lies Inside A Journey With HIV** (2019), which follows a creative process whereby people living with HIV challenge stigma and misrepresentation using photos and autobiographical storytelling in Chile.

After the film, Angelica will invite people to be part of a workshop on visual storytelling which will take place at the Sussex Beacon on the **October 8**.

**The Sussex Beacon’s Women’s Group meet on Thursday, September 22, 10.30am-3pm. Lunch included.**
