A new collaboration between LGBTQ+ sexual health charity **The Love Tank**, artist **Fredde Lanka** and **Sexual Health London** (SHL.UK) is aiming to make STI testing more visible and accessible through a limited-edition series of self-sampling kits.

Following a successful launch at London's **Body Movements Festival,** 1,000 specially designed **SHL.UK** self-sampling kits have now been made available to order online for people living in the capital.

The project marks the first creative collaboration of its kind for SHL.UK and brings together sexual health promotion, community outreach and queer art. Each kit features artwork by illustrator Fredde Lanka and includes a limited-edition sleeve, stickers and a postcard.

The collaboration was initially unveiled at Body Movements Festival on 30 August, where The Love Tank's outreach team provided sexual health information, support and testing resources to thousands of attendees. Organisers said the response to the artwork and outreach materials prompted the decision to release a one-off run of 1,000 kits for online ordering.

Fredde Lanka said the project held particular significance as someone who regularly uses sexual health services. "Sexual Health London (SHL.UK) plays an important part in the sexual health of the communities I am part of," he said.

"As someone who depends on these services, it has been an honour to contribute my illustrations and help The Love Tank and SHL.UK in promoting these kits. I hope it leads to more people learning about and using them in the future."

The initiative is designed to encourage conversations around testing and prevention by transforming what is often viewed as a purely clinical product into something colourful, eye-catching and community-focused.

Alongside the limited-edition kits, The Love Tank has also produced temporary tattoos and postcards featuring Lanka's artwork. The materials, which include QR codes linking directly to SHL.UK's free testing service, will continue to be distributed at outreach events across London.

Dr **Will Nutland**, executive director of The Love Tank, said the collaboration reflects the organisation's approach to engaging communities around sexual health. "Outreach is about meeting people where they are and finding ways to make conversations about sexual health feel relevant, approachable and human," he said.

"That's what we love about this collaboration with Fredde and SHL.UK. The designs are bold, queer, joyful and deliberately hard to ignore, because sexual health should be part of our everyday conversations.

"Whether someone tested with us at an outreach event, left with a SmartKit, or orders a limited-edition kit from home, we've created another way for them to take control of their sexual health, without judgement and on their own terms."

The free limited-edition kits are available to London residents while stocks last. Users must complete a short online consultation before ordering, with samples returned through a freepost service.

The Love Tank said the project highlights the role creative partnerships can play in reaching LGBTQ+ communities and encouraging regular sexual health testing outside traditional healthcare settings.
