# Sussex Cricket to host Pride Inclusivity Match and Sixes Cricket Taster Event on 5 July

**Sussex Cricket** will be hosting a **Pride Inclusivity Match** and **Sixes Cricket Taster Event** at the **1st Central County Ground** in Hove on **Saturday, 5 July**, which will celebrate “diversity and inclusion through the power of sport”.

The aim of the event is to connect with as many people from the LGBTQ+ community across Sussex as possible, giving everyone the chance to discover the potential of cricket in their lives - whether for sport, fitness, friendship, socialising or just fun. 

Before the main matches, Sussex Cricket is running a FREE cricket taster session - perfect for all ages and abilities - in its brand-new **Sixes Bar** at **1pm**. [RSVP HERE](https://sussexcricket.co.uk/2025-Pride-Inclusivity-Match?ref=scenemag.co.uk).

You’ll also get to meet the team from **BLAGSS** (**Brighton LGBTQ+ Sports Society**) and find out about other inclusive sporting opportunities across the area.

After your taster session, you’re invited to enjoy a thrilling **T20** double-header, with **Sussex Sharks Women** playing at **3pm**, followed by the Men at **7pm**.
