# Sussex Beacon patron, Jill Nalder, to walk BAFTA red carpet

**Jill Nalder**, the newest patron of the **Sussex Beacon**, which provides specialist care and support for people living with HIV, will be joining her fellow cast members from TV series ***It’s A Sin*** on Sunday for the **BAFTAs** with the hit series receiving an incredible 11 BAFTA nominations. This includes **Olly Alexander** in the Leading Actor category and **Lydia West**, who played Jill, in the Leading Actress category.

*It’s A Sin* has helped educate and engage the nation in discussion about the challenges faced by people living with HIV. It reportedly helped create a spike in HIV testing and generated greater awareness of preventive medication and effective treatments available for people living with HIV.

**Bill Puddicombe**, Executive Director of the Sussex Beacon said: “We would like to wish Jill and the entire cast of *It’s A Sin* every success at the BAFTAs on Sunday.

“We’re extremely proud of Jill’s involvement with the Beacon from its earliest days, 30 years ago”.
