# Sussex Beacon launches weekly service for clients living in Eastbourne and surrounding areas

**The Sussex Beacon**’s **Community Service Team** has launched a new weekly service for clients living in **Eastbourne** and surrounding areas. 

Working in partnership with local LGBTQ+ charity **Bourne Out LGBTQ+**, the Sussex Beacon’s clients now have a safe space in Eastbourne to meet with caseworkers, for dedicated 1-2-1 appointments or to access an afternoon drop-in facility. 

People living in and around Eastbourne can pop in for advice, meet their peers or simply enjoy a cup of tea and a natter. This service is now up and running, taking place in a discreet Eastbourne location every Wednesday. 

The photo shows members of the Sussex Beacon's Community Services Team alongside staff from the **Avenue House** clinic and **Mandy** from Bourne Out, who provided a very warm welcome. Everyone took time out to enjoy a wonderful celebratory cake.
