# Saltdean Lido announces screening of ‘Priscilla: Queen of the Desert’

**Saltdean Lido** has announced it is hosting its first LGBTQ+ event – a screening of **Priscilla: Queen of the Desert** with cocktail bar and pre-movie DJ – on **Saturday, August 7** from **7pm**.

**Deryck Chester**, Director of Saltdean Lido CIC, said: *“This will be our pool’s very first official LGBTQ+ celebratory event and as a gay man I’m hoping there will be a lot more going forward.”*
