# Remember Monday's Lauren Byrne wears ‘Protect the Dolls’ tee at Manchester gig

**Lauren Byrne** of country-pop trio **Remember Monday** stood up for trans rights last night by wearing a 'Protect the Dolls' T-shirt at the band’s Manchester show. 

Worn during the group’s headline performance at **Gorilla**, the tee - emblazoned with the now-iconic slogan - is part of a growing movement advocating for trans rights and visibility. Designed by **Conner Ives** and popularised by celebrities including **Pedro Pascal** and **Charli XCX**, the shirt has become a symbol of solidarity with trans women, often affectionately referred to as “dolls” within LGBTQ+ communities.

Proceeds from the shirt’s sales go to **Trans Lifeline**, a trans-led charity offering emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis. As of September 2025, the campaign had raised over **$600,000** for the organisation, funding microgrants and life-saving services across the United States.

The Manchester gig was part of the band’s 17-date *What The Hell Just Happened?* tour, named after their Eurovision 2025 entry. Despite placing 19th in the contest, the trio - Lauren, **Holly-Anne Hull** and **Charlotte Steele** \- have continued to build a loyal fanbase, with their live shows praised for their vocal prowess, humour, and heartfelt storytelling.

The tour kicked off on **13 October** in **Cardiff** and will conclude on **7 November** atLondon’s **O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire**. Along the way, the band are performing in cities including **Bristol, Portsmouth, Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Norwich** and **Cambridge**.
