# Queens Arms Brighton to host Trans Pride Brighton fundraiser - 'Legally Male: The Trans Parody Musical'

The **Queens Arms Brighton** will be raising funds for **Trans Pride Brighton on Friday 18, July** at **6pm** with **LEGALLY MALE: The Trans Parody Musical** \- a trans retelling of the story of *Legally Blonde* character Elle Woods, but with a trans twist. 

Adapted by the creative mind of self-proclaimed 'Transexual Menace' **Rococo Chanel**, and directed by Queens Arms' Sunday resident **Portia**, the show features a stellar cast of trans folk and allies, including **Lydia L'Scabies, Darcey Nox, Joe Black, Ophelia Payne, Tanya Hyde, Jamie Heward, Emerald Gardens,** Rococoand **Sugar Swan.**

They will be arriving at **12pm** with script in hand with **SIX HOURS** to rehearse and create a spectacle.

All money made through ticket sales will go directly to **Trans Pride Brighton**, which is a community-led, volunteer-run protest and celebration that brings together trans, non-binary, intersex, gender variant individuals, allies, families, and friends with a mission to promote trans liberation, visibility, community support, and joy. 

Founded by **Sarah Savage** in 2013, **Trans Pride Brighton** has become the largest trans-specific Pride event in Europe and the first of its kind.
