## A Surrey Police officer has been convicted at court of drink driving.

**PC Matthew Hall, 42, appeared** at Crawley Magistrates Court today (October 5) where he pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, while off duty.

He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, received a £485 fine, £85 costs and will pay a £45 surcharge.

The offence occurred in Epsom on September 21, 2016.

PC Hall, who is based at Reigate Police Station, is on restricted duties pending the outcome of misconduct proceedings.
