**Peccadillo Pictures** has announced **Adam Kalderon**‘s film **THE SWIMMER** will be released in selected cinemas on **May 5** and on DVD and On Demand on **May 16**.

The film follows swimmer Erez, who finds himself thrust into an unforgiving world of sporting rivalry, battling against his peers for a place on the Olympic team. With his goal in sight, Erez is single-minded in his athletic ambition, that is until he meets handsome fellow swimmer Nevo.

*THE SWIMMER* made a big splash with audiences at this year’s **BFI Flare LGBTQIA+ Festival**. A thrilling blend of sports movie and love story infused with personal experiences, it’s fraught with heady drama and smouldering sexual tension – not to mention a healthy dose of men in speedos.
