West End stars Marisha Wallace, Wendy Mae Brown, Cavin Cornwall, Tyrone Huntley and Hugh Maynard have reunited with the British Theatre Academy (BTA) ensemble from their critically acclaimed production of “ **The Color Purple In Concert “** to record the title song on video as a fundraiser for the Academy.

The BTA offers free and affordable theatre opportunities to young performers. Donations will provide free bursary places at the Academy , with an emphasis on places for young artists with a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background .

The original concert was staged at the Cadogan Hall in 2017\. This extract is directed by Danielle Tarento, with musical direction by James Taylor.
