Netflix has officially pulled the plug on its LGBTQ+ dating reality series ***The Ultimatum: Queer Love***, confirming that the show will not return for a third season.

A spin-off of the popular *The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On*, *Queer Love* premiered in May 2024 and featured couples made up of women and non-binary individuals navigating the complexities of commitment. The format saw one partner issue a marriage ultimatum, prompting couples to separate and explore new romantic connections before deciding whether to reunite, move on, or remain single.

Hosted by **JoAnna Garcia Swisher**, the show was praised for its inclusive casting and emotional depth, offering rare visibility to queer relationships in mainstream reality television. Despite its cultural significance and a strong debut, the second season - released in June 2025 - failed to replicate the success of its predecessor, missing Netflix’s global Top 10 rankings.

Netflix expressed pride in the work of the cast and crew but did not provide a detailed explanation for the cancellation. Industry insiders suggest that internal restructuring and commercial viability may have influenced the decision.

The original *Ultimatum* series, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, continues to thrive, with a fourth season already confirmed.
