Actor **Naomi Watts** has once again shown her support for her trans daughter, **Kai Schreiber**, after the pair made a high-profile appearance during **Milan Fashion Week**.

Schreiber, 17, has quickly emerged as one of fashion's rising stars, with the daughter of Watts and actor **Liev Schreiber** attracting growing attention from major designers and fashion houses as her modelling career continues to flourish. Recent runway appearances and fashion week invitations have cemented her status as one of the most prominent young trans models in the industry.

The pair were photographed together during fashion week festivities, with fans praising the close bond between mother and daughter and Watts' continued public support of Kai as she builds a career in the fashion world.

Kai has become an increasingly visible figure for transgender representation in fashion. Earlier this year, her father Liev Schreiber spoke about her transition, describing the family's support and explaining that embracing his daughter's identity felt natural because "Kai was always who Kai is".

The teenager has also spoken openly about her ambitions, previously revealing that she dreamed of becoming a supermodel and looked up to trans fashion trailblazers including **Hunter Schafer**, **Hari Nef** and **Alex Consani**.

Her growing prominence comes at a significant moment for LGBTQ+ visibility in fashion. While trans models have often faced barriers to entering the industry, a new generation of talent has helped challenge those limitations, with major brands increasingly showcasing trans and non-binary talent on runways and in advertising campaigns.

Earlier this month, Kai was recognised with a Breakthrough Model award and told the audience she was the first trans girl to receive the honour. In an emotional speech, she paid tribute to the trans women who had "paved the way" before her and thanked her family for their unconditional support.
