# More dates announced for MOBILISE, a series of radical and joyous queer dance parties in Birmingham

More dates have been announced for **MOBILISE**, a series of radical and joyous queer dance parties in Birmingham.

Following a successful first *MOBILISE* queer and sober dance party at the end of June, **Fatt Projects**, producers of the event presented as part of **Birmingham 2022 Festival**, have announced future dates for the series taking place at **The Exchange** in Birmingham: **Saturday, July 16**, **Friday, August 19** and **Friday, September 9**.

The series will culminate with a large-scale protest performance leading the world-famous **Birmingham Pride** on **Saturday, September 24**.

*MOBILISE* is created to “empower LGBTQ+ people to dance, take up public spaces, feel confident and celebrate themselves – with a particular focus on trans, disabled, PoC, fat and other marginalised bodies”.
