**Brighton Bear Weekend** (BBW), which this year takes place **Thursday, July 14 – Sunday, July 17**, has announced the seven finalists of this year’s **Mr Brighton Bear** competition, and what a line-up it is!

**Most embarrassing moment**: Getting aroused while getting a prostate examination by a rather dishy doctor.

**Something not many people know**: I have children and a grand daughter.

**Andrew Gee**

**Lives**: Brighton.

**Identifies as**: Bear.

**Andrew is**: Partnered but open to offers.

**Favourite position**: Flying Dutchmen – not really but it’s worth the urban dictionary search!

**Most embarrassing moment:** Humiliating was something unrepeatable. Embarrassing there’s been so many they just don’t sting as they should.

**Favourite celebrity bear**: Winnie the Pooh. Don’t really know to be honest lots of beary men about.

**Something not many people know**: Pretty public with most things. I make leather gear in my spare time. May as well plug the side gig here!

**Most embarrassing moment**: At last year’s competition. Wearing budgie smugglers that showed nothing!

**Favourite celebrity bear**: Stephen Fry, but I don’t see him as a bear!

**Something not many people know**: I ran the London Marathon in 1985.
