To mark **International Day of Hope and Remembrance** for those affected by hate crime on **Sunday, October 18**, organisers of [**National Hate Crime Awareness Week**](https://nationalhcaw.uk/?ref=scenemag.co.uk) (NationalHCAW) are encouraging all to light a candle and share a video/picture of it on social media using the hashtags **#NationalHCAW** and **#IntDOHAR** at **6pm**.

Organisers of NationalHCAW say: *“Please help use remember those we have lost, display our solidarity with those who need our ongoing support and show the world that no one affected by hate crime should suffer alone.”*
