# Legends to sponsor Cabaret Big Top at We Are Fabuloso for Brighton & Hove Pride’s 30th Anniversary

**Brighton & Hove Pride** has announced LGBTQ+ venue **Legends** will once again sponsor the **Cabaret Big Top**, which is the sequinned sensation at the heart of **We Are Fabuloso** in **Preston Park**, for Pride’s 30th Anniversary in **August**.

Hosted by Brighton Belle, Miss **Lola Lasagne**, the Legends Cabaret Big Top features a smorgasbord of the very best of the UK’s LGBTQ+ cabaret scene and is your first stop for a riotous celebration of queer, camp entertainment!

In a statement, Brighton & Hove Pride said: “Legends’ support for Brighton & Hove Pride is the epitome of Brighton’s community spirit and we are delighted that new team are continuing their support for our official fundraiser for the **Brighton Rainbow Fund**.

“From their financial support of the Legends Cabaret Big Top to their own fundraisers for the Brighton Rainbow Fund, Legends are perfect example of how a venue’s support can make a real difference.”

**Paul Kemp**, managing director of Brighton Pride CIC, said: “We are truly grateful for Legends’ continued support for Pride and the community as a whole, and wish the new team the very best of luck in this iconic venue. Huge thanks also go to Stephan Richards (AKA Lola) who always arranges a stellar line-up that makes the Cabaret Big Top one of the weekend’s top destinations.”

LEGENDS BRIGHTON

**Erica Hann**, co-director of Legends, added, *“We firmly believe that who you love or how you identify should never be a barrier to opportunity. That’s why Legends is proud to continue the support of Brighton & Hove Pride – one of the UKs largest and most successful Pride festivals.”*

Brighton & Hove Pride is the UK’s biggest Pride Festival operated by Brighton Pride CIC, a not for profit community interest company. All tickets revenue raised goes directly to the operational and running costs of producing the **Pride Festival**, LGBTQ+ **Pride Community Parade**, **Pride Village Party** and community fundraising for the Brighton Rainbow Fund and **Pride Social Impact Fund**.

Pride has raised over £946,000 for the Brighton Rainbow Fund, the Pride Social Impact Fund, **Pride Cultural Development Fund** and new **Pride Solidarity Fund** in the last six years. The Brighton Rainbow Fund has a remit to receive donations and to use them to give grants to LGBTQ+ and HIV groups and organisations in Brighton & Hove. The Pride Social Impact Fund benefits local good causes giving grants to a range of local groups.
