# Leathermen South raise £220 for Sussex Beacon

**Leathermen South** held what turned out to be an enormously successful Christmas party last weekend at iconic Brighton gay bar, **The Bulldog**.

For one very special night, last year's **Mr Brighton Bear** wowed the crowd, becoming a tantalisingly enigmatic Santa bearing an enormous sack of gifts, generously donated by **Prowler** and **Nice 'n' Naughty**. 

The **Sussex Beacon** said on social media: "With donations being encouraged throughout the evening, we are delighted to announce almost £220 was raised for the Sussex Beacon. 

"Many thanks to **Carl Patrick**, **Steven Epsom**, **Lee Evans** and **Francisco Guillen**, for their support and involvement. Our thanks also to **Freddie**, **Brad** and the rest of the crew at The Bulldog, for their really kind help and ongoing support. Warm thanks also to everyone who kindly and generously donated on the evening!"
