# Just Like Us announces date of School Diversity Week 2024

Following the success of [**School Diversity Week 2023**](https://www.justlikeus.org/blog/2023/06/30/school-diversity-week-2023-activities/?ref=scenemag.co.uk), with more than 6,000 primary and secondary schools taking part, LGBTQ+ youth charity **Just Like Us** has announced the next event will take place **24 – 28 June, 2024**.

While 24-28 June are the official event dates for primary and secondary schools across the UK, schools are able to celebrate LGBT+ inclusion whenever suits them.

**School Diversity Week** is a celebration of LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion, celebrated by thousands of primary and secondary schools.

Just Like Us provides school staff with **free resources**, as well as support to help with celebrating School Diversity Week. According to the charity, positive LGBTQ+ messaging is linked to school pupils having [better wellbeing](https://www.justlikeus.org/blog/2021/11/25/research-report-growing-up-lgbt-bullying/?ref=scenemag.co.uk), regardless of whether they’re LGBTQ+ or not.

School staff can [sign up for School Diversity Week 2024 now](https://www.justlikeus.org/join-us/?ref=scenemag.co.uk), and get access straight away to these free resources.

The free resources include videos, posters, circle time and form time activities, subject-specific lesson plans, assembly slides and more. There are resources available for all key stages, across all curriculum subjects. All resources are ready-to-go and are designed by teachers, for teachers.
